Maine Walks with Haiti Online Registration Closed; Register On-Site Saturday

June 7, 2019

Online registration for Saturday’s 10th annual Maine Walks with Haiti is closed, but you can register on-site beginning at 7:45 a.m. The festivities begin at Portland’s Back Cove Park at 8:20 a.m., and include a timed 5K run, leisurely walk, family-friendly activities, face painting, a Haitian art display, and a special performance by nationally renowned choral group Pihcintu!

MWWH is our largest annual fundraiser, and we rely on the funds raised from it to continue our mission of strengthening the health system in North Haiti by partnering with healthcare facilities in the Cap-Haitien community. Whether you choose to join us on Saturday or simply donate, your support at this time is essential to ensuring that our work continues. You can make an online donation here.

Whether you choose to join us on Saturday or not, you can support Konbit Sante by creating a Personal Campaign Page here and become eligible for prizes. You will receive a link to your PCP that you can share with friends, family, and colleagues, and they can pledge money to Konbit Sante in your name. You can also enable a tracker that will allow you to see how much progress you’ve made toward achieving your fundraising goal. You don’t need to register for MWWH to create a Personal Campaign Page.

You can also print a  pledge page here. Simply return the pledge page at the registration booth during Maine Walks with Haiti, or mail to our Maine office: 362 US Route 1, Falmouth ME 04105.

Prizes will be awarded to the person or team who raises the most money via pledges, and to one that gets the greatest number of pledges. Prizes include an overnight stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Portland, including breakfast, a light evening meal, and an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi ($199 value); and a three-hour Mailboat Run cruise for two aboard the Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal, departing from Portland and visiting Little Diamond, Great Diamond, Long, Cliff, and Chebeague Islands ($33 value).
