The 10th annual Maine Walks with Haiti is only six days away, but there is still time to help us meet our fundraising goal, support our friends and colleagues in Haiti, and have a good time in the process! If you create a Personal Campaign Page and share it with your friends before Saturday’s Walk, you will be eligible for prizes, including a cruise of Casco Bay and an overnight stay at one of Portland’s top hotels.
Click HERE to create a Personal Campaign Page. You will receive a link to your PCP that you can share with friends, family, and colleagues, and they can pledge money to Konbit Sante in your name. You can also enable a tracker that will allow you to see how much progress you’ve made toward achieving your fundraising goal. You don’t need to register for MWWH to create a Personal Campaign Page. If you prefer to raise funds without participating in the walk/run, we are happy to have your support!
If you prefer to go old-school, a print-ready pledge page can be found HERE. Simply return the pledge page at the registration booth during Maine Walks with Haiti, or mail to our Maine office: 362 US Route 1, Falmouth ME 04105. Those who submit pledges this way will also be eligible for prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to the person or team who raises the most money via pledges, and to one that gets the greatest number of pledges. The prizes include:

We are still accepting business and individual sponsorships to this year’s Walk as well. To sponsor Maine Walks with Haiti, email info@konbitsante.org or call (207) 347-6733.
To celebrate the 10th year of Maine Walks with Haiti, we are kicking off the event with a special performance by Pihcintu, a Portland-based multicultural choral group of girls and young women that has performed all over the state and nationally, including at the United Nations and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Many of Pihcintu’s members are refugees from war-torn countries, and the group sings songs of hope, love, and coming together. We thought their music was a perfect fit for this year’s theme, “Building Bridges,” and we are very excited to have them on board.
There will also be food and Haitian metal art for purchase, as well as face-painting for children. Walkers are invited to participate for free, and the timed run will include prizes. To register to run, click HERE.
Please join us at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Back Cove Park in Portland for the 10th annual Maine Walks with Haiti 5K. Together, we can continue to strengthen capacity for a healthier Haiti as we work together in this konbit.
