A Big Thank You to 80 for Haiti – Team Traverse!

Hi everyone,

We wanted to send an update, our gratitude, and one final nudge: yesterday, we completed our 80-mile ride!! We had to delay our ride from Saturday for family logistical reasons – but Monday was lovely and long and time meaningfully felt and spent – from Laura’s apartment in Easthampton to Northampton to Amherst to Belchertown and back south to our final destination of Plainville, CT.

In all we rode 80.92 miles through 13 towns on the Northampton-New Haven trail plus some road biking, and we saw countless rabbits (and a bobcat, crazily), birds, trees, and the occasional pedestrian. Ryan joined for 34 miles and cheered us on as we finished.

Thank you again to everyone who has contributed thus far (!!!). We are 70% of the way to our goal, and the fundraiser goes until July 31, so we invite anyone still considering a donation to give today! We believe in Konbit’s work and feel honored to partner with them in this small (but significant!) way.
