3/19 at noon: A View from the Embassy: How Foreign Aid Can Make a Difference

March 11, 2025

Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon (EDT)

An online discussion with the Hon. Pamela White, former
United States Ambassador to Haiti.

In eviscerating the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Trump administration has effectively dismantled one of the world’s leading foreign aid organizations, leaving tens of millions globally at increased risk of starvation and disease.

The impact of the administration’s actions will also dramatically weaken the United States’ ability to make positive change in many of the world’s poorest countries, including Haiti.

Please join Konbit Sante for a timely and informative webinar discussion with the Hon. Pamela White, former United States Ambassador to Haiti, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 12:00 noon (EDT), entitled, “A View from the Embassy: How Foreign Aid Can Make a Difference.”

As one of the very few people who have served in the Peace Corps, USAID and the State Department, Ambassador White is uniquely positioned to offer her perspectives on the effectiveness of aid, particularly in Haiti.
