Staff Profile
At Konbit Sante, our staff are the steadfast and energizing force that bring our mission to life on a daily basis. We believe that building capacity begins by identifying and capitalizing on human potential; then placing those individuals in positions where they will be able to act as change agents. Over the years we have built a team of talented individuals that we gather strength and inspiration from. We think that once you've gotten to know them, you'll feel the same.
Meet our staff!
| U.S. Leadership
This team is responsible for working with the board to set the strategic direction for the organization, leveraging support and resources from donors as well as volunteers, and providing the infrastructure and support necessary for our Haiti staff to do their best work. They work closely with the Haiti leadership team in designing programmatic strategies and initiatives.

| Doctors
The physicians we support are embedded within the public institutions where they work and, in addition to providing patient care, are charged with training others (residents, other providers, community members, etc) and instituting quality improvement initiatives.
| Nurses
The nurses we support, like the physicians, are embedded within the public institutions where they work and, in addition to providing patient care, focus on training and supervising others. They play an instrumental role in building the capacity of the health systems they are a part of and increasing the quality of care patients receive.

| Community Health Workers
In Haiti, community health workers are called agents de sante. They are responsible for going out into the community to teach and administer disease prevention techniques. All of our health workers are connected to one of our partner institutions and play an invaluable role in referring patients in need of care and following up on patients who have received care.

| Support Staff
There are many other essential components to a functioning health system besides health care workers. We support several people who do very important work "behind the scenes" to ensure patients are able to get the care they need.
| Haiti Leadership
This dynamic team is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all of our programmatic activities as well as managing all in-country operations.
