Since 2009, Konbit Sante’s  volunteer nurses have partnered with Angelina Laine, Director of the school of nursing, Ecole des Infermieres Notre Dame de la Sagesse in Cap-Haitien, Haiti.  Together they designed a joint program to honor student nurses who demonstrate excellent practice and devotion to their patients.   The honorees, who are identified at an annual ceremony, receive a small gift and their names are engraved on a plaque that hangs in their school.  With great pleasure, the gifts and the plaque have been provided by Konbit Sante’s volunteer nurses.
